  13. Angus B. REACH: Men of the Hour, n.d. (1856 suggested). Once finely bound, this small, illustrated book seems to have been completely soaked in water, the entire volume has warped, covers and text block alike. No sales. U

  14. S.C. HALL: British Ballads, n.d. (before 1895). Worn, faux fine binding, hinge broken. U

  15. Victor HUGO: Notre-Dame de Paris, n.d. Volume 7, orphaned from larger set of complete works. Damaged cover, yellowed pages. G

  4. Aldine Edition of British Poets, 1866. 28 volumes, faux fine binding. Many volumes damaged, spines flaking off. Some G to VG, could be split up to sell any intact individual volumes or pairs, especially the more famous names.

  5. Nathaniel HAWTHORNE: Complete Works, 1891. "Wayside Edition" 25 volumes, complete. A once nice set, many volumes have broken front joints, many repaired with household clear tape, which has dried out, flaking, damaging the leather. Could be offered at a discount for rebinding, or nice rag paper could be reclaimed. A

  6. Collection of 15 French novels, all bound the same. Leather covers and spines turn to powder in your hands, poor quality paper, worm holes. Could maybe be sold as a prop for “distressed look” interior installation. A
